It has been couple of weeks again since I posted. Musical is unfortunately over yhyy:'(
It was awesome so I do recommend to try it out for the future exchange students if possible! We had our YFU mid year orientation two weeks ago and it really got me thinking about what do I want from this year in here. I need to face the fact that I'm only going to be here for the next four months...What!?..I don't remember staying here for 6+ months already. What scares me the most is that I had to count that with fingers..lol.. that's what happens when you don't have math for year;P
I went to my first hockey game in here. Even that is different in here. There are always many fights which get more cheering from the audience than someone actually scoring a point for the team;D
Man down after 2 minutes:D
Didn't win, tried to throw the puck on the mat... I wonder how softball is going to turn out to be for me hehe:)
People are going crazy...
For musical we did Beauty And The Beast. We had rehearsals six times a week for three months plus the time we put in to the set building, which was hours... But it was all worth it. I wish I could be part of some musical when I come back home.
Last of the week's reherseals were pretty stressful.. But we all survived from them.
We had five shows in four days. Nothing major disasters happened, thank goodness. the curtain broke in one show though but something always happens so we were lucky that was it. We pretty much owned the show!;D
Getting ready!
I was a villager and a bartender. We got pictures taken but yet haven't received them so here's a quick bathroom picture of my costume! We all got them custom made and some of them were really beautiful! Can't wait to post the pictures when we finally get them.
After two shows on Saturday we, the whole cast which was 70 of us, went to the local restaurant. It was late at night about 10pm but the owner opened it for us so we could get H's special! Toast-ice cream-bacon treat :D I thought he was kidding! Surprisingly it was pretty good, who would have thought...
yummyyyy:)
We all are so grateful for H who did an awesome job directing our musical. Each of us wrote a short paragraph for him.
Last week went fast, we only had four days of school which I didn't mind:)
Slacking at the art class!
Another hockey game at downtown Grand Rapids and late night special time with Ben&Jerry.
Our ducks<3
Mid winter break is almost over here, next one spring break and Bahamas!...
